Technical introduction of aspheric lens

Aspherical Lens is the lens for aspherical lenses used for lenses. That is to say, the surface shape of lenses may be two times, three times of surfaces. The three surface is also called free-form surface.

The lens shape of aspheric lens is through accurate calculation and by precision machine and grinding, full consideration in the design process to the various correction factors, and thus an aspherical lens can achieve multiple spherical lens aberration correction effect, aspheric lens manufacturing lens which can effectively reduce the number of lenses and thus reducing the lens the volume also makes better lens imaging accuracy, better transparency, more accurate color reproduction.

The main feature of the aspheric lens is that it can improve the refractive index of the edge of the lens to the light, so that the image of the object is more detailed. The performance of the lens is greatly improved by applying the aspheric lens to the monitoring lens for the first time. Now aspherical lens is an organic combination of Hybrid Aspherical Element and low scattering (LD, Low-Dispersing) lenses, resulting in excellent optical properties. Among them, the LD lens has the property of non parallel light imaging (unparallel optieal quality), which can effectively eliminate the chromatic aberration which makes the contrast and sharpness of image weaken.

The processing technology of aspheric lens have very high requirements: on the one hand, the optical resin (optical resin) of the optical properties only in casting process to ensure appropriate management in order to achieve the best. On the other hand, the physical characteristics of LD lenses fragile and need to ensure the machining accuracy in precision polishing and coating process.

The light of the edge part of ordinary spherical lenses blurred the imaging points due to refraction, resulting in halo. However, the rays of the edge part of the aspherical lenses were highly focused on one point by the reflection of the higher-order surfaces, so the imaging points were very precise. The imaging quality of the aspheric lens is improved. In addition, as an aspherical lens can replace the combination of multiple spherical lenses, the size of the lens is reduced and the transmittance is improved.

The monitoring camera lens are high-end double lens, to the development of multi group and multi piece in structure, no matter how complicated its structure, the lens group is composed of converging and diverging lens, lens is a convex lens, diverging lens is a concave lens, no Lun is a convex lens or a concave lens is always a a spherical surface, so that the surface of the ball lens is called spherical lens". Although modern spherical lenses are widely used in the design and processing of computers, they are also made of new high quality optical glass. However, it is difficult to eliminate all kinds of spherical aberrations and chromatic aberrations as well as other aberrations. Especially long focal distance and large aperture lens, all kinds of aberrations are particularly serious. The best way to solve these problems is to design precise and accurate aspherical lenses.

The characteristic of aspheric lens is that it can improve the image force (resolution) of the camera lens. It is very important to make large aperture lens, especially to make large aperture zoom lens, which is especially important for increasing the zoom multiplier, making the lens high quality and miniaturization. So the aspheric lens is almost the development trend of the lens. Early in the early 50s, it was suggested that the best way to improve the quality of lens imaging was to make the lens aspherical. The following figure is the comparison of spherical and aspheric lenses in light focusing.
